Right next to Central Station is this former postal sorting center with a 360-degree view. You can walk all around the rooftop, making a visit feel like a real city walk from above. Take the stairs up or down to admire beautiful glass mosaics by Louis Roode.
This building is a national monument (since 2019) dating back to the reconstruction period after World War II. At the rear, there was a direct connection to the railway, allowing mail to be transported directly by train after sorting. Since its renovation in 2009, Central Post has been one of the most sustainable buildings in the Netherlands. It is now used as office space by various companies.
