Luchtpark Hofbogen

Luchtpark Hofbogen stands at the beginning of a 1,9-kilometer-long viaduct that was already used in 1909 for a train connection between Rotterdam and The Hague. Subsequently, the Randstadrail ran here until 2010. Since then, things have been quiet for a long time, and for years it was unclear what would happen to the station. The renovated arches in the base filled with shops, offices, and restaurants, but the roof remained empty. That changed when Luchtpark Hofbogen officially opened as a city park in 2018.

There are grand, green plans for the redevelopment of Luchtpark Hofbogen and the entire route of the Hofplein Line. The Hofbogen Park is expected to open in 2027.
