At Portlantis, the new experience center located on Maasvlakte 2 between the beach and the dunes, everything about the port comes together in one impressive experience. In the striking building, designed by MVRDV, you can discover what the port is, what it means to our daily lives, and what the port of the future will look like.
Portlantis is a true destination. Inside, visitors explore the harbor through films, games, augmented reality, simulators, models, and much more. The exploration continues around Portlantis, with harbor tours, for example, or dune displays showcasing archaeological and paleontological finds. And the panoramic deck at the top of Portlantis is accessible (free of charge) via two striking red staircases that frame the building. A truly unique roof, atop a striking building in an industrial area.
