Schiekadeblok

The Schiekadeblok is an institution in Rotterdam. Home to Annabel, Biergarten, Roodkapje, Poing, Operator Radio, and the starting point of the Luchtsingel: one of the last raw spots in the city center. And everyone has known for years that things were going to change here. But now the time has really come. That is why Rotterdamse Dakendagen is building an aerial walkway across the entire block this year: bridges and stairs connect 12 rooftops into one large route. Walk The Block will be more than just a walk. It is a story about this place, with views like you have never seen before. Along the way, you will discover more about the block: its origins, its creativity, its nightlife, and what is to come.
