The location of your programme is listed on the program page and on your ticket. Did you purchase an Open Rooftops Day Pass? Before going up onto the roof, exchange your e-ticket for a wristband at one of our ticket offices / info points: Mobypark Delftsestraat (on the rooftop) and in the central entrance of the Groot Handelsgebouw (GhG)With this wristband, you get access to all Open Rooftops.

Both ticket counters are open on May 30, May 31, June 6, and June 7 from 10:00 AM to 17:00 PM. Please note: only the ticket counter in the Groot Handelsgebouw is wheelchair accessible.

No, unfortunately, purchased tickets cannot be exchanged or returned.

Do you have any spare tickets you're not going to use? Perhaps you could make someone else happy with them or offer them on TicketSwap.

Yes, you can visit the rooftop of Mobypark Delftsestraat free of charge during the two festival weekends (May 30, May 31, June 6, and June 7) from 11:00 AM to 17:00 PM. This is our festival hub. Here you can enjoy food and drinks, take in the view, and admire art. You do not need to reserve a spot for this.

We cannot assess the severity of your fear of heights. However, it is good to know that we have permits for all rooftops at the festival and are taking extensive measures to ensure your visit is safe. You do not need to walk right along the edge of any roof (this is also prohibited without fall protection). We know that some rooftops are perceived as intimidating by certain visitors; in such cases, the program section states that you should not have a fear of heights.

For the 2026 edition, you can book an Open Rooftops Day Pass. With this ticket, you can visit 10 rooftops within walking distance between 11:00 AM and 17:00 PM. You can purchase a Day Pass for Saturday, May 30, Sunday, May 31, Saturday, June 6, or Sunday, June 7. View our program overview for more information.

A visit to a rooftop typically lasts 30 to 45 minutes. For performances or special events, the exact duration is listed on the program page.

It is possible that we may be able to release more tickets as the festival approaches (for example, if an event's capacity turns out to be larger than expected). However, we cannot know this in advance. Our advice: check the website again on the day itself.

For popular tours (such as the roof of Central Station), the chance of tickets becoming available is very small. You could check Ticketswap to see if a visitor is selling their ticket there.

Ticket sales start on Tuesday, April 21 at 12:30 PM on this website. 

You can buy tickets for the Rotterdam Rooftop Days online via this website. There are no other ticket providers. You can pay via iDeal / Wero (internet banking for Dutch banks) or credit card.

During the Rotterdam Rooftop Days themselves, you can also buy tickets at the counter at our info points. There is an info / ticket counter on the roof of Mobypark Delftsestraat, our festival hub which is free to access, and in the central hall of the Groot Handelsgebouw (GhG) at the Stationsplein. These are open on May 30, May 31, June 6, and June 7 from 10:00 to 17:00.

At both information points, information is available about all the programme components of the Rotterdam Rooftop Days.

You can arrive at the venue from the entry time ("Doors Open" on your ticket) until the event's start time. Only during this time are you guaranteed admission. You'll find these times on your ticket.

At Walk The Block, we work with time slots. A 15-minute time slot is indicated on your ticket. You must report to the location within these 15 minutes. If you are late, we cannot guarantee entry. Your visit will then last approximately 45 minutes. 

Generally, you have your ticket scanned at the address found on it. An exception is the Day Pass, which allows you to visit our 10 Open Roofs. You exchange this at one of our ticket counters / info points before going up onto the roof.

Tickets for sold-out events or time slots are not available at the door. However, you can purchase remaining tickets at our information points during the festival.

Unfortunately, you cannot return tickets. Our advice: invite someone or give your ticket to someone who would be happy with it. You can also offer your tickets on TicketSwap.

You can pay on our website with all major credit cards and with iDEAL / Wero (internet banking for all Dutch banks). At our ticket sales points, you can only pay by debit card.

You will receive a confirmation email with your tickets. Didn't receive an email? Check your spam folder and add us as a safe address. Checked spam and still no tickets? Then click here to have them sent to you again. We may also email you again later with important information about your visit, so it is a good idea to add our email address to safe addresses in any case. 

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, you do not need a Day Pass to attend other events. All Guided tours, Specials en Walk The Block They are all individual events with their own ticket sales. However, you do get a discount on a guided tour if you have also purchased a day pass for the same day.

This varies by rooftop. If there is a minimum age, this will be stated on the webpage of the programme and on the webpage of the rooftop. If no minimum age applies, children under 16 must still always be accompanied by an adult. One adult can accompany a maximum of 2 children.

If a discounted rate applies to children, you will always find this during the ordering process.

This is not allowed because you are not permitted to take large objects upstairs. You can, however, bring babies in a carrying swaddle, unless a minimum age applies for a visit to the rooftop (for example, minimum 5 years, minimum 12 years, or minimum 15 years). In that case, a baby in a carrying swaddle cannot go onto the roof. You do not need a ticket for a baby in a carrying swaddle. 

Children are not allowed on the rooftop unsupervised and we estimate that one supervisor cannot adequately supervise more than two children at a time.

At the Open Rooftops (for which you purchase a Day Pass), children up to and including 4 years old can go up onto the rooftop for free. A discounted rate applies to children between 5 and 11 years old.

Young children are not admitted free of charge to Guided Tours and Specials. There is also no discounted rate for children. 

At Walk The Block, a minimum age restriction of 12 applies. Children between 12 and 18 years old pay the regular rate.

Please note: for rooftops where an age restriction applies (minimum age 12 or minimum age 15), young children being carried (for example in a baby carrier or swaddling carrier) are also not allowed on the roof.

Our programs will continue as usual even if it rains. We will only close rooftops in hazardous weather conditions. In that case, all ticket holders will receive an email about their visit as soon as possible.

In the event of a dangerous weather situation, we seek advice from experts. We monitor the situation and make a well-considered decision on whether rooftops remain open, with safety as the top priority. If rooftops are no longer accessible, ticket buyers will be notified by email as soon as possible. Therefore, as long as you do not receive an email, you can assume that the event will proceed. 

Your ticket is only valid for the specific time slot stated on your ticket. This does not change in the event of bad weather. Therefore, you cannot exchange your ticket due to rain. However, you are more than welcome to come anyway, for example with an umbrella or raincoat.

That is certainly possible; all the rooftops are within walking distance of each other this year. 

We are selling a Day Pass again this year to visit Open Rooftops. We have made 10 larger rooftops in our area accessible, including a number of new rooftops that have not previously been open to visitors during the Roof Days. This ticket is valid for one day (May 30, May 31, June 6, or June 7) and the rooftops are open from 11:00 AM to 17:00 PM.

During a visit to Walk The Block, you visit 12 different rooftops that are connected to each other. 

You may never drink alcohol brought from home on the rooftop. You also may not be under the influence of alcohol. The exception is rooftops where the organization itself serves alcohol.

Smoking or using drugs on the rooftops is not permitted. This also applies to vapes.
