Rotterdam Rooftop Days has established a set of house rules that the public must adhere to when attending the festival and accessing the rooftops and Rooftop Roetsj. Read below for the specific house rules for each section of our 2025 program.
General House Rules Rotterdam Rooftop Days

- Feel free to be yourself, but always consider others.
- Always follow the instructions of the crew and emergency services.
- Stay within the fences and railings; climbing on or over them is not permitted.
- Do not throw objects over the fences or railings.
- Wear flat shoes that are comfortable to walk on (stairs). Heels and flip-flops without heel straps are not permitted due to potential evacuations in the event of an emergency.

- Smoking is prohibited on all rooftops, including electronic cigarettes.
- Pets are not allowed, with the exception of assistance and guide dogs.
- Strollers, suitcases and large bags are not allowed on the rooftops.
- Please be aware of all safety precautions and take them seriously. Entering the venues is entirely at your own risk.
- Rotterdam Rooftop Days and participating building owners are not liable for damage to visitors or third parties as a result of participating in activities.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. One adult may accompany a maximum of two children.

- Persons who cannot independently hear, understand or follow verbal instructions from the crew (in Dutch or English) must be accompanied by someone who can (at least one supervisor per person).
