From June 1st to 30th, 2023, Rotterdam Rooftop Days transformed six football fields of space on the roof of the Zuidplein Shopping Center into an art park. A stunning 1-kilometer route along a bright yellow path on the roof, past art by 42 artists inspired by stories from the neighborhoods of South Rotterdam.

Zuidplein is a major public transport hub with one of the largest bus stations in the Netherlands. In recent years, the surrounding area (also known as Hart van Zuid) has undergone significant changes due to new construction and public space renovations. The shopping center of the same name celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022 and underwent a major renovation.
