The municipality of Rotterdam has the master plan Rotterdam Skate City Created. This is an "opportunity map" showing all current and potentially suitable skate spots, with agreements between skaters and other users. Skating should not be seen as a source of nuisance, but as a sporting way to create a vibrant and safe public space for all users.

As part of this master plan, the municipality wants to test the potential of skate-based interventions in public spaces during Rotterdam Rooftop Days and other locations. With this in mind, the collective Deadcat these three skateable art-objects.

Fish swim under the square
