This is a TonTuinA circular rain barrel with a planter on top, developed by Water leaderRain falls on the planting element and drains through a filter into the barrel below. No downspout? No problem. With a downspout? Then the barrel fills up faster. The TonTuin is a compact solution for collecting rainwater, made from recycled materials. More than 18.000 of these bright blue barrels have already been distributed throughout Rotterdam.
