As you can see, only one of the top-of-the-line houses has a green roof. Far too few, of course. This is representative of the number of green rooftops we currently have in Rotterdam. Green rooftops contribute to a healthy city because they keep the urban environment cool and promote biodiversity. The municipality of Rotterdam is participating in Multirooftops, A European project that digitally maps the potential of rooftops in various countries, enabling us to collaborate on a large-scale approach.
