Zolar is a solar energy tile that you can walk on, developed by the roof specialists of ZoontjesIf you cover a roof with these tiles, you kill two birds with one stone. You generate sustainable energy and you have a modern foundation for your roof terrace.

De Zolar-tile is compatible with Zoontjens' Fixplate Lock system. With Zoontjens' Fixplate Lock system, the tiles are stable and secure, yet easy to move. The maximum power a Zolar tile can generate under ideal conditions is 134 watts peak. An earlier version was tested on the Experimentendak in Rotterdam-Noord.
