At Rotterdam Rooftop Days, we've been dreaming of rooftop-to-roof public transportation for years. But this metro station isn't designed for that. It's an additional stop for the exhibition. Destination Port City, which you can now visit at the Maritime Museum.

At various stations, you'll take a virtual metro journey through Rotterdam and through time: from the past to the future. How did the Port of Rotterdam grow into the largest in Europe, and what role will the port play in the city of tomorrow?

Fish swim under the square

The water between the Leuvekolk and the Leuvehaven is connected by a large pipe under Square 1940, allowing fish to swim from the Rotte to the Nieuwe Maas. And vice versa.
