Cloiq went in the workshop Uncoupling art Getting to work with drainpipes. Children and adults sawed and glued the pipes into hearts, flowers, fantasy figures, and even rainwater monsters.
The artworks are mounted on the downpipe so that the rainwater goes to the plants instead of the sewer. The downpipe is, so to speak, “disconnected”. By wasting less drinking water on the garden in this way, you help build a future-proof city where rain is used for plants and flowers, and not to fill the sewer.
Cloiq was founded by designer Bas Sala.
