Working on the climate is often so dull. Boring. We're not allowed to do this or we shouldn't do that. Cloiq has come up with something unique for this: a smart rain barrel in the shape of a cloud. Saved up from collected plastic and 3D printed into a rain barrel cloud.
This rain barrel regulates the ultimate water level entirely on its own. It reads the weather forecast via the internet and empties itself before a downpour. During periods of drought, it starts raining on its own, thereby watering the plants. Cloiq was founded by designer Bas Sala and works with professionals and residents on a future-proof, healthy, climate-adaptive city.

The rain barrel works like a regular rain barrel. It's connected to a roof's downspout. Water enters the barrel through a pipe in the barrel's base. Because the roof is higher than the barrel, the water flows into it naturally:
