Mini Rooftop Concert met O. | Shumann date Shaffy

Together with O. (Festival for music. Opera. Theatre) we organise musical rooftop encounters at various locations. On Sunday June 1st, a mini Rooftop Concert at The Rotterdam Building (11th floor) with baritone singer Michael Wilmering.

Imagine yourself in a bath of love during this concert. All facets will pass by; infatuation, lust, uncertainty, humor, frustration and hope.

The Dichterliebe by Robert Schumann will form the basis of this performance. This music is rich in color, and at the same time vulnerable. It can deeply touch us in its purity and the lightness lifts us up for a moment. The music of Ramses Shaffy does the same. These two musical styles will inspire each other and take us on a journey through our feelings.

The concert Schumann Date Shaffy is an extension of the podcast De Gevoeligste Snaar.
