Near Zuidplein, there’s a new residential complex for a total of 500 young people aged between 18 and 27: De Startmotor, designed by Marge Architecten BV. A building where meeting, connecting, and doing things together is key. Also on the rooftops!
In total, there are almost 3000 m2 of social functions on the rooftops. The rooftop is filled with various gathering spaces. You can visit four different rooftops here. There’s one with playground equipment for young adults, one with a vegetable garden, a sports rooftop, a green rooftop terrace, and pavilion with solar panels.
