Het Witte Huis

After its completion in 1898, Rotterdammers lined up to visit the observation platform atop the White House. And for good reason. Standing at a height of 43 meters, this Art Nouveau building is the first “skyscraper” in the Netherlands. The building survived the bombing and witnessed new experimental and unique architecture emerge around it.

From this rooftop, you can see the Nieuwe Maas flowing into the city center and experience the Markthal and the famous cube houses from a different perspective.
