In Portlantis, the new experience centre located on Maasvlakte 2 between the beach and the dunes, everything about the port comes together in one impressive experience. In the striking building, designed by MVRDV, you can discover what the port is, what the port means for our daily lives and what the port of the future looks like.
Portlantis is a real destination. Inside, visitors discover the port using films, games, augmented reality, simulators, models and much more. The discovery continues around Portlantis, with tours through the port, for example, or dune display cases with archaeological and paleontological finds. And the panorama deck on top of Portlantis can be accessed (freely) via two striking red staircases that frame the building. A special roof, on a striking building in an industrial area.
