This quay house right next to De Hef on Noordereiland was designed by architect Paul Lageschaar.
It’s a striking building, notably because each floor widens and an additional window is added to the side façade. He did this because the plot where the house stands is relatively small. From the green rooftop terrace, you have an incredible view over the city and monumental bridge De Hef. Plantings such as rosemary willow, dune rose, bamboo, and dune grass create a green oasis where you can relax and unwind.
