Take a giant slide from the roof? It’s possible during the 10th edition of the Rotterdam Rooftop Days! This festive anniversary centers on the rooftop of the Maritime Museum. Wander through a dazzling high-altitude exhibition, enjoy breathtaking views over the Coolsingel and the Leuvehaven behind the museum, and end with a spectacular descent: zip down the slide—or simply take the stairs if you prefer.

The Rotterdam Rooftop Roetsj offers a glimpse of the city of the future: an inspiring, playful world where water, greenery, and buildings merge together. The area around the museum is also well worth a (free) visit during this event: discover the museum harbour of the Maritime Museum, take a look at “Jan Gat,” the sculpture by Zadkine, and enjoy the slide spectacle from the terrace.

Please note: the slide may be closed in certain weather conditions for safety reasons.
Your ticket grants you access to the Rotterdam Rooftop Days exhibition on the roof of the Maritime Museum during your reserved time slot. After your visit, you can go down using either the slide or the stairs.

To ensure visitor safety, the slide may be temporarily closed during hot or rainy weather. In that case, your ticket remains valid within the original time slot. Refunds are not possible.

The only way to be sure the slide is open is by purchasing a ticket on the day itself, although availability cannot be guaranteed.
