On Friday 24 May, we kick off the Rotterdam Rooftop Days 2024: the starting point for a weekend where the usually quiet rooftop landscape of Rotterdam comes to life. This year, 56 rooftops are part of the programme, which is expected to welcome around 15,000 visitors.
Rotterdam Rooftop Days is on a mission to utilise the rooftop landscape, in Rotterdam and globally. Many square kilometres of unused space above our heads, available to utilise for a vibrant and green urban future. Space for housing, biodiversity, climate adaptation, relaxation, and liveliness. Space that is usually not used, because we do not yet know how to unlock its potential. Space with amazing features (and views), which are explored and utilised in unexpected and creative ways during the festival.
We would be delighted to welcome you on the rooftop of Las Palmas to celebrate that the rooftops are open again!
