Address Aert van Nesstraat 45
The Rotterdam Building between Lijnbaan and Coolsingel was built in the 1970s by architect Kraaijvanger. The progressive design at the time turned out not to be as timeless as hoped. Due to the closed nature of the building, it has been largely vacant in recent years. Currently, the Rotterdam Building is being completely renovated and with a more transparent plinth it will have a stronger connection to the city. During your visit to this roof you imagine yourself in the middle of the bustling city, looking down on the vibrancy of the center and the modern buildings around Lijnbaan.
During the Rotterdam Rooftop Days in 2023, you can visit our central festival rooftop on the 11th floor, where you can go for your first (free) view, information about the festival and a cup of coffee or tea.
